Started in December 2001 by Michael A. Robson as Studentvalue and re-launched in September 2002 under the name, BCbookworm.com is a student-run organization that connects BC students to help them save up to 35% on their college textbooks. By connecting them through a live online automated database, BCbookworm.com can reach thousands on BC college students.

BCbookworm.com goes beyond the standard forum by offering Books Wanted ads that specify the students needs (financial, geographic) so the students are notified any time a possible seller is found.

BCbookworm also encourages its members to join the team as Campus Representatives, making money while growing the site, and ultimately, empowering the student body.
